Yes. Sensori works with standard Android and iOS smartphones for smaller high detail captures. The same cloud processing pipeline applies regardless of which device you capture with. Use the Sensori Android and iOS apps for best results.

Sensori supports 360 video from most Insta360 cameras, but newer models such as the X5 and X6 are recommended for improved accuracy and detail. If your team already owns one of these for site documentation or inspection work, you can start generating 3D models from that footage without buying new equipment. We also support the Ricoh theta Z1 and X, or Kandao Qoocam 3 and 3 ultra.

We charge a processing fee per minute of video or per image for still image data sets and will vary according to data pack size. This fee includes 5 years of hosting in our web viewer and the ability to share and download the processed data at no additional cost.

Sensori is built as an engineering-grade capture system, with typical drift errors of 0.1% of path distance between two points provided that the best practices outlined in our documentation are followed. Surveyed control points may be used to deliver sub centimetre accuracy over larger areas. Geometric precision will depend on surface type with high texture materials such as concrete or wood providing much better results than reflective surfaces or cleanly painted interior walls.

If you want reliable accuracy, you will need to use our scale targets. Using targets will get the drift error down to around 0.1% while still providing a fast, low effort workflow. If you want even better accuracy across a site, adding survey control and using our survey targets will allow absolute position errors of 5-10mm to be achieved.

Video-based photogrammetry from a 360 camera or smartphone is significantly faster and cheaper to deploy than static laser scanning, since it needs no specialist operator or expensive hardware, and Sensori's processed accuracy can meet or exceed handheld SLAM-based scanners in typical site conditions. Static total stations and laser scanners remain the reference standard for the highest-accuracy survey work, but for routine site documentation, inspection, and progress capture, camera-based capture covers far more ground per hour while also delivering a clear visual reference.

Yes. Because capture uses a lightweight 360 camera which can be attached to a long monopod rather than bulky scanning equipment, it's well suited to ceiling voids, manholes, roof spaces, and other difficult or unsafe-to-access areas that are hard to survey with traditional equipment.
